Zenofon’s rate to call Kenya will go up from 5 cents to 8 cents a minute effective March 18thMarch 10th, 2010Zenofon’s rate to call Kenya will go up from 5 cents to 8 cents a minute effective March 18th, (10 days from now). The 5 cent/minute rate was a promotion; we were selling Zenofon minutes to Kenya without profit to introduce you to Zenofon. The new rate is 8 cents/minute. There are no extra fees such as connection fees, monthly fees or expiration fees. What you pay for is what you get. It’s a simple concept we don’t know why other phone companies don’t do it that way. Additionally, Zenofon does not bill in full minute increments. Other companies, especially prepaid cards you buy in the store, charge you in increments of 1 minute or even 3 minute increments. Zenofon bills you in increments of 6 seconds after the first 30 seconds. Zenofon is the cheapest, most honest way to call Kenya, and you probably realize that because you are all customers. We would like to thank all of our Kenyan customers. Zenofon grows by word of mouth marketing, and as of now we have had most success with the Kenyan market. I had one Kenyan friend who told a few friends, and now we probably have 1000-2000 Kenyan customers. I am excited about meeting you all personally one day, and growing Zenofon together. If you have any questions on how to refer friends to Zenofon – they don’t have to be Kenyan – they can be from anywhere – not just Kenya, send me an email at Baruch@zenofon or call me on the customer service number. The people who have referred people are generating recurring commissions every day, without having to do any additional work. As your friends, and their friends, and their friends, keep using Zenofon, you will make recurring commissions, that you can turn into telephone credit or that you can even use to request a check. The rate to Kenya was a promotion. We were losing money selling it at that rate. Thats why we had to raise it. Sorry again.
