Problems connecting? Zenofon’s amazing new feature allows you to fix it yourself!

April 27th, 2010

Dear Valued Zenofon Customer,

If you ever have trouble calling one of your contacts, such as echo, low voice quality, no caller ID, or busy signals, Zenofon has just created a feature where you can fix this problem yourself. All you have to do is the following:

Step 1) Call in the usual way, at the voice prompt, “please wait while we connect your call”, hit the # key.
Step 2) You will be taken to a voice menu that asks you if you want to change the way we route your call. If you want to change the way we route it, press 1 or 2. (In the future you will be given up to 10 choices.)
Step 3) Allow the call to route to your destination using the new route.

Thanks for your continued business,
Baruch Herzfeld
President Zenofon

Concept explained:

Zenofon purchases its telephone services in bulk from other companies. No one company is great to every destination. For example, the company that we send Nigeria calls to, might be excellent to Lagos, but weak to other cities. Additionally, this same company might be good one day, but bad another day. With other older, less innovative telephone companies, when you have a problem you have to call in customer service, and they would then re-route the call for you, (if you were lucky). Zenofon now allows you to do this yourself. All you have to do, is press # at the voice prompt, and then choose a number from the menu, right now 1 or 2, that allows you to reroute the call yourself.
Please give us feedback about this feature. The concept is new, and we are implementing it without fully testing it. In the future, we will give you 10 different routing choices, so you can always have as many options as possible. Additionally, at this point, we are not charging extra for this feature. In the future, we may implement an option to charge more, to send the call over a very high quality route, but at this point, everything is the same. If we ever change this policy, we of course will let you know via email.
